About Royal Family Kids Ithaca We aim to transform lives and communities by interrupting cycles of neglect, abuse and abandonment of children in the foster care system. We fulfill our mission by providing an array of programs, all directed toward changing the trajectory of young lives which usually include a combination of academic failure, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, sex trafficking, homelessness, and incarceration. -The mission of Royal Family KIDS is to have 100,000+ foster children in our camps & mentoring programs, and to change lives with the effective demonstration of compassion and unconditional love. -We offer foster children a life-changing experience through summer camps & mentoring clubs. -We enlist and train churches across America each summer on how to launch and sustain their local camps & mentoring clubs. -We provide ongoing support services for existing camps & mentoring clubs.
Purpose: Mobilize the faith community to confront child abuse! Mission: Creating positive, life-changing moments for innocent children who have been victims of neglect, abuse, and abandonment. SAMPLE CAMP SCHEDULE Here's a brief idea of the daily schedule. 7:30 a.m. Exercises 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Breakfast 8:35 - 9:30 a.m. Breakfast Club 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Activity Center 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Bible Story / Chapel 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. Lunch and 30/30 time 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Swimming and activity centers (90 mins each) 4:45 - 5:30 p.m. Games 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Clean up for dinner 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Dinner 6:40 - 7:50 p.m. Evening activity 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Stories and handbooks in rooms 9:30 p.m. Bedtime, staff in lodges / counselors on break
